The 37th NEMPET Meeting had a special theme: “Visualizing Microbes for Understanding, Communication, and Art”. It featured hands-on Microscopy and Photography Workshops as well as themed platform presentations. Featuring Scott Chimileski (Paul Smiths) and Lance Richardson (USMA West Point).

The Keynote Lecture was: "The Forest in Your Mouth:  What Structure Tells Us About Function" by Dr. Jessica Mark Welch, of the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole.
